He also worked with the NFLPA on the Rookie Premiere, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, and numerous other projects.

Notable work included showrunning NFL Networks’ NFL Life Kirk Cousins, an unprecedented look inside at Cousins’ free agency process, the docuseries Game Day Commute starring top NFL talent, and several projects featuring the US Women’s National Soccer team in their run up to winning the World Cup in Paris. ACE was acquired by OneTeam Partners in 2020.

From 2011 to 2017, Dave produced a variety of television shows including the first two seasons of Netflix’s QB1: Beyond The Lights, as well as Crunchyroll’s AAU Basketball docuseries, On Point. Other projects include HBO Sports & Peter Berg’s Emmy-winning documentary series State of Play, Fox Sports’ The Pecos League, and Esquire’s The Short Game. He also wrote, produced, and directed the short documentary, Early Innings, which was selected as Vimeo’s ‘Short of the Week’ and is currently in development to be made into an episodic docuseries.

From 2006 to 2009, Dave was a creative executive at Universal Pictures working on feature films including Your Highness, Robin Hood, Public Enemies, and Pitch Perfect, in addition to managing a development slate of over 40 film projects. Dave began his career at Focus Features in New York, where he spent three years collaborating with the co-presidents on the development and creation of Academy Award-winning films Brokeback Mountain, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Lost In Translation, and the genre breakouts Shaun of the Dead and Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, among many others.

Dave holds a bachelor of arts from Colgate University and currently lives in Austin with his wife and six-year-old son. He completed his tour of America’s 30 baseball stadiums in July 2023. Like his father, he also yells at the TV.
